- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

- 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup milk, egg, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into small meatballs.
- Place meatballs in a single layer in a baking dish.
- Boil the cubed potatoes until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain well.
- Mash the potatoes with 1/2 cup milk, butter, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the meatballs in the baking dish.
- Pour marinara sauce over the mashed potatoes.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a quicker prep, use pre-made mashed potatoes.
- Add your favorite vegetables like peas or carrots to the bake.
- You can also use a mix of ground beef and pork for the meatballs.
