Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the steak cubes to the hot skillet in a single layer, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding. Sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the same skillet.
- Once the butter is melted, add minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, stirring constantly.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet. Toss to coat the steak in the garlic butter sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until the steak reaches your desired doneness.
- Remove from heat. Garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For best results, use a good quality cut of steak like sirloin, ribeye, or filet mignon.
- Do not overcrowd the pan when searing the steak; this will steam the meat instead of searing it.
- Adjust the amount of garlic and herbs to your preference.
- Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
