  • 1 French baguette
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the French baguette in half lengthwise.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, chives, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Spread the garlic herb butter evenly over the cut sides of the baguette halves.
  5. Place the baguette halves on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the butter is melted and bubbly.
  7. Slice into pieces and serve warm.
