- 1 French baguette
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the French baguette in half lengthwise.
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, chives, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Spread the garlic herb butter evenly over the cut sides of the baguette halves.
- Place the baguette halves on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the butter is melted and bubbly.
- Slice into pieces and serve warm.
Notes
- You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
- Feel free to use your favorite herbs.
- For crispier bread, bake for a few additional minutes.
