Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples and cranberries.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 cup flour, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and nutmeg. Sprinkle this mixture over the apples and cranberries and toss to coat.
  4. Pour the fruit mixture into an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  5. In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup flour, brown sugar, oats, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and salt.
  6. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
