Instructions

  1. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, combine cherries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and cherries are tender. Remove from heat.
  3. In a separate bowl, melt chocolate chips with milk until smooth.
  4. Spread the chocolate mixture evenly over the bottom of the pre-baked pie crust.
